Delete your account

Last updated 7 September 2026. You can do this yourself, here or in the app. Read what it destroys — some of it belongs to your customers, not just to you.

What happens, in order

  1. Straight away. Any monthly plan is cancelled and any saved card is removed, so nothing more is charged. Nothing is refunded.
  2. For the next 7 days. Your apps keep running exactly as they are. A business app does not disappear from under its users the second a button is pressed, and you can still change your mind: sign in and press “Keep my account”.
  3. After 7 days, permanently. Every app you built is switched off and deleted — the running service, the database with your app’s own users and their data in it, the code, and any domain you attached is released back to you. Your Forgable account, your builder history, your business workspace and your unused credits go with it.

We keep one record afterwards: that this account was deleted, the email address that asked, and the dates — so we can prove it happened and answer you later. Records of payments already made stay in our accounting for as long as South African tax law requires. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Email hello@theappforge.app before you delete and we will hand over your app’s code repository and a dump of its database. Afterwards there is nothing to hand over.
